SOLUTIONS

OUR SOLUTIONS by: Miss Pilar
HOME Children should reduce time of watching television and other sedentary behaviors.
Parents should encourage their children physical activities into regular routines.
SCHOOL: Encourage students to eat healthy lunches low in fat, calories, and added sugars.
Provide all children, from pre-kindergarten through grade 12, with quality daily physical education.
OUR COMMUNITY:
Encourage the food industry to provide reasonable food and beverage portion sizes
Encourage food stores to increase the availability of low-calorie, nutritious food items
Create opportunities for physical activity in communities.
HOW WE PRETEND TO ACHIEVE OUR SOLUTIONS:
HOME: Asking our parents for afternoon classes of our favorite sports.
Not watching a lot of TV, and not eating junk snacks.
SCHOOL: Talk to our school authorities about our solutions to prevent obesity.

OUR COMMUNITY:
We will write letters to our authorities letting them know about our concern and solutions toward the obesity problem.
